In 2017 I planned my mom’s bachelorette party.I was not impressed with the party games and decor options.There was an extreme lack of diversity and few depictions of women of color, particularly the black woman. Few items incorporated our lingo and style or showcased the brown skin bride or bride-to-be. Melanin Bachelorette is embracing and uplifting women of color. Highlighting all brown skin tones, hair textures and body shapes. Providing bachelorette party and bridal shower decor, games and accessories for the black bride and bride-to-be."
